    About Cody's Fish

    Cody Richardson is a Colorado native who grew up exploring the rivers and streams of the Rocky Mountains and now to the salty shores of Florida.  He switched gears from a career in firefighting to pursue a personal passion for fly fishing and unique artwork. 

    Starting out by creating personal designs in his home shop for friends and family, these pieces caught on through local Colorado fly shops and are now carried and sold in shops around the world. Cody's work has received numerous international accolades in the outdoor and art worlds.

    Some of the most rewarding aspects of this career for Cody is coming up with new and intricate designs through collaborating on custom art to commemorate the passions and life events of customers.  The license plate 'hunts' has taken him around the globe with a rod in hand to create these one-of-a-kind pieces. Ann Richardson grew up fishing in the driftless area of the Midwest and spent many summers in the boundary waters. 

    After nearly 20 years with a Fortune 500 Company, she too switched to expand the family business in a business manager/license plate mule role. Ann likes the excitement of tracking down rare plates in unexpected places and catching 'bucket-list' fish (preferably in warm climates with the family).
